Programme collections

While my collection is as relatively small as it is, my current solution, which i actuallt really like, is keeping them in platic wallets in large binders. I currently have 2 large binders full. The wallets protect them and you can simply flip through each one and see them, rather than them bing piled in a box. I imagine this will be no good once the collection starts getting much larger though as they do take up some room.

Well done for being able to come up with an excuse. I've lent my programme to people sitting next to me before and spent the whole time wondering why I've done it. Don't ask me how but people always seem to make those semi-circular creases with their fingers. I've just gently tried to work out how they do it with a programme and have no idea! Sadly I've got a couple of programmes that haven't made it home in pristine condition (e.g. water bottle leaked in my bag) so a couple of creases caused by another audience member isn't the end of the world. However the more pristine the better. I've also made them give me a different one why buying a programme when the one they've handed me is already creased.

I did recently lend about 20 programmes to a friend because she's trying to gather cast info for a specific company. She only took photos of each page to use later but I'm hoping they come back in a good condition. She's one of those people that would bend the cover right back on itself but she knows mine have to be treated very well.

In terms of how I store programmes, they are currently in a couple of banana boxes because I've recently moved. One day they'll make it back into my bookshelf and potentially for the first time in about 10 years into alphabetical order. Hopefully I can actually find what I'm looking for if I do that. I know the colour of quite a few spines but not all of them.
