Love Cher, this has to be a dramedy musical but with camp elements!!
I really enjoyed a naff made for TV movie a few years back based on the ‘Sonny & Cher’ years that focused on the dark sides of their relationship and his death.
Always love a good blast of Cher

Not sure whether I'll like this or not. I love Cher, but I'd rather see Cher. Even in a hundred years time, if she's not around, I still wouldn't want to see someone impersonating her.
Of course I'll see it, because it's about Cher, but I'm sure I'll feel weird afterwards.

Well after seeing that awful Gloria Estefan musical on Broadway, I am not Cher if I want to see this.
Apparently Lee Hall is writing the musical Rocket Man for Broadway, obviously about Elton John, not sure if this still going ahead.

Saw Cher in Vegas a few years back - wasted a lot of money!! For a 90 minute show, she must have been on stage for about 40 minutes? The rest of the time was dancers, videos and more videos and more videos. Must be a bad job being her dresser trying to shoe horn her into those costumes!! Great pity love her recordings and her 2 or 3? Farewell Tour dvds, but my Lord it was an awful show!!

There's only one Farewell Tour DVD. Shame you didn't enjoy the Las Vegas show. I never got to see it.
I prefer the costumes from the Farewell Tour DVD, but probably slightly prefer the 1999 concert tour set list. I wonder how many costumes they'll get into the Musical.
