It doesn't matter now but I wonder what had been lined up for the Criterion and the Trafalgar Studios? An announcement had probably been due any day 😩

I was due to see this again next week and now feel genuinely sad that I'll never be able watch it again. As much as I disapprove of bootlegging, I really hope a copy of this turns up at some point. Given the size of the Criterion, I'd be amazed if anyone managed to illicitly film in there without being spotted.

We passed the Criterion on Sunday, when I mentioned my partner that it will close soon. We agreed that we will try and see it again before the closure as it was really so funny. Little did we know that the day after, on our way to Upstart Crow, there will be a decision to close all theatres.
Just so sad. London is so miserable right now. London is not good for community spirit and self isolation, it only works when it's full of life.

Would be smashing if they released a recording in return for a donation. Doubtful, but would be lovely.

TallPaul Non-existant! (Very few internationally-performed operas in Hungarian, opera listening being how I've picked up most of my limited knowledge of Italian & German.) I saw Jonathan Sayer tweet the other day that there's a production of The Play That Goes Wrong opening in Ukraine. Impressive for a country to tackle that while at war.
