Eight 15 minute episodes. Comedy drama about a young gay man called Ryan who has Cerebral Palsy exploring his sexuality and his independence away from an over protective single mum.
Its funny, sweet, sad, awkward, sexy and enlightening. Written by, and starring Ryan O’connell

I've seen a couple of episodes. His boss cracks me up. It's an enjoyable series but nothing special, imo.

The boss is some hideous Miranda Priestley-esque character, at a buzzfeed type of operation called EggWoke 😂

I must say that I prefer Please Like Me - in the quirky gay comedy drama genre. It had the same sort of mix of the painful and the funny

Season 2 of this has ‘dropped’ 😏. Now extended to 30 minute episodes because the studios must have their pound of flesh. It will probably kill it!

I’m probably just a bad person, but series 2 left me not actually liking Ryan very much.

Don’t you think that was possibly intentional though? Just because he has CP doesn’t mean he can’t be an arse. People can have disabilities and not necessarily be nice or sympathetic characters. The character’s sexual confidence grows massively during this season and many will recognise how that can change people.
I think this series was as much about Ryan’s best friend and mum’s storylines which I really enjoyed.

Just seemed odd to write your own story and make you out to no be so great. But honest and realistic I guess. Felt very sorry for Tanner.

He definitely did a faux pass at the prom, but he also got an unnecessary amount of crap for other things, especially the douching accident (no pun intended!).
