Emerson Colonial posted a few days ago that they'll be announcing a pre-Broadway run. I guessed The Preacher's Wife or Magic Mike. Sure enough it was the latter.
I'm not crazy about a bunch of hunks triggering my suppressed body dysmorphia, but here we are.
I used to love Tom Kitt's and Brian Yorkey's work, but Kitt's scores now all sound the same and you know exactly what they will sound like before hearing a single note.
