Ok who felt the earth move then?
Sadly not because Julian Ovenden popped over.

Me, in Manchester. Slight, but very distinct shaking of the building lasting about 4 seconds.

Yes, felt a slight shake here in Oxfordshire. Thought I'd imagined it till I saw the news stories!

“My boy went quite giddy." Is a quote from a parent in "Wales Online".
I know the feeling, and the earth moved that time too!!!

Exactly when was that? I was out in the Cotswolds so I should have been in range of it, but I might have been in my car at the time and given that Oxfordshire spends all their road maintenance budget on speed limit signs rather than repairing the road surface I wouldn't have noticed even if it had thrown the car in the air.
The last earthquake I remember happened at night, and I woke up to sounds of thuds and rattles. In my half-awake care-about-nothing state I thought "meh, must be an earthquake" and went back to sleep, and it turned out I was right.

Many years ago I lived in Peterborough and was woken by an earthquake. In my half awake state I thought it was a tube train passing underneath the house! When I woke in the morning I realised how silly that was and only when I turned on the news was the mystery solved!

A friend of mine felt it in West Bromwich. Still haven't found out Gemma Collins' location in case it was her falling over.

Aw dim problem cariad, twas a flying visit. All I saw of North Wales was a slightly 'League of Gentlemen-eque' pub in Flint, the inside of Theatr Clwyd and erm, Mold Wetherspoons (classy visit innit)

There's a brilliant quote on the BBC website from a woman in Connah's Quay in N Wales, saying it's the most excitement she's had on a Saturday afternoon for a long time and that she thought it was fat wood pigeons jumping on her roof

To be honest I'm shocked we made it out alive. Scene: Pub, size of a small house. 7.30pm and 6 of us enter. Not another soul is in sight. Eventually a lady appears. We ask about food, oh no it's too late for that. Oh but hang on I'll ask. Man appears. Aye he can do food. I don't know if you know the film 'Never let me go' but there's a scene where they all order the same thing in a cafe...that's what we looked like. We got periodic updates on the food and eventually 2 old blokes came in. And (not a word of a lie) most of what we overheard was discussion about "The war". We did however escape unharmed.

It's what we term in North Wales 'extreme dining'. Will be on Channel 5 soon!

Rumour has it there is a small hamlet in Clwyd which makes a ritual sacrifice every time Emi changes her profile photo.
