Does anyone know if this is due to be staged in Dublin again this year, having done 3 consecutive years?
(I looked for the Once thread here and in the musicals category and couldn't find it even though I'm almost sure there is one. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up by posting This!!)

Don't know but we saw it the first year it was on in Dublin having previously seen it in London. I had forgotten, despite spending summers in Ireland as a kid (my dad was from Cork) just how noisy cinemas and theatres can be in Ireland. It was a very different experience from seeing a the Phoenix. My daughter said at the time that we had enough material for a sizeable entry to the Bad Behaviour at a show thread.

My heart absolutely LEAPT seeing this thread pop up, you got my hopes up!  Saw Once in Dublin in 2015 and had a really lovely time. Thankfully had a well-behaved audience! I've been thinking about this show a lot recently, would love to see it back either in Dublin or here, even a small-scale production would be lovely. |

Ahh, sorry to get everyone's hopes up!
My family is all over in Ireland and I'm desperate to visit this summer. I was actually planning a trip over last year to see Once but just never got round to organising it, but given that it'd done 3 summers already I naively assumed/hoped it'd be on this year too!
Once is such a great musical, it's GOT to come back in some way or another, surely?!

^Hopefully, but nobody tell Stasia before we all have tickets - or we won't stand a chance against her onslaught on the box office . You are definitely overestimating the amount of tickets and flights one could afford on a 800 quid a month salary  Re: actual topic. I’ve been visiting Dublin’s Once in 2015 and 2017, and a few people there remember me. I may ask if they know whether it’s back again or not |
