Well. I'm sorry to report that the promised nudity didn't deliver. Most disappointing. However on the plus side, the play (one of my favourites I would say) zips by nicely and there's some really lovely set pieces, the Coronation in particular is simple but effective and lit beautifully. Eddie's crown is also a sparkly delight, they should have done replicas on the merchandise stand. He also has a nice gold suit which I had my eye on.
Although the nudity wasn't forthcoming, the cast is hot hot hot and they do spend a chunk of time lolling around in their little tight black undies which was nice.
Oh and for those Yael Farber fans amongst you, there's a lot of walking about which she would no doubt approve of.

Was going to book as im a Marlowe fan but the Stage review put me off. However as the RSC are working their way through the Marlowe canon we shouldnt have too long to wait.
