Hi Everyone, long time lurker looking for some of your shared wisdom. After 20 years in London I am moving back to Scotland to either Glasgow or Edinburgh (or somewhere in between). It's a bit of an adventure and I am hoping to do more freelance work up there than I've been able to do down here. I've worked as a Musical Theatre actor and now spend most of my time coaching singing and acting.
My main question is for those of you that live up there can you recommend particular places to advertise as a singing and acting coach? I've tried lots of agents and am dram companies but need to spread my net a little wider. Of course if anyone has any other thoughts on theatre based employment I'd love to hear it. I really want to get back into more artistic projects MD'ing and Directing as well.
When I'm up there I'll be looking for a new friendship group as well and I hope there are plenty of members on here that might be up for reminding me of the beauty in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Any thoughts would be really much appreciated. Was a really exciting adventure two weeks ago and as it gets closer it's getting more daunting.
