I didn't know of this performance artist's solo exhibition until John McGrath tweeted today it's "the show of the summer for me".
Anyone here been along?

Am going to one of the Barbican members' private views of this (that way I also get a free ticket for my partner) and am really looking forward to it. As the online booking system for it wasn't working I had to phone to book my tickets. I fear that I may have mangled Mr Kjartansson's name, but the woman taking my booking was too polite to laugh. I enjoyed it earlier in the year when the Barbican put out a call for musicians to take part in the show. It said something like must be able to play an instrument while drinking lots of beer. Dream job for some, I would have thought. The Barbican does have some really good exhibitions. The Eames one was fascinating, for example. Not something I would necessarily have thought about going to see but it turned out that they were so much more than some chairs! Benefits of free entry with membership is that I sometimes give things a punt since it isn't going to cost me anything.
