Reverberation is by Matthew López, the writer of "The Inheritance", Its European premiere is at the Bristol Old Vic for a month from 2 October. It predates The Inheritance by a couple of years, but has never been produced in Europe.
López has tweaked the play from its NYC run, relocating the play from New York to London - which suggests to me that there is a serious intention to bring this down the M4 in due course.

I'd love to see this, so hopefully it does make its way into London

I'm sat front row for this. Any idea on sightlines, they've built another level on the stage?

I thought this was pretty terrific last night. Two superb performances by Michael Ahomka-Lindsay and Eleanor Tomlinson, it's a play that confounds expectations in taking a well-known trope (kooky straight girl meets buttoned-up gay man) and doing something entirely different with it. For personal reasons I really wasn't in the mood for theatre last night but very quickly I found myself drawn into the two apartments and wanting to learn more about these two characters. I hope and expect a future life for this, it would be a good fit for the Young Vic given its history with López or I could see it working very well at the Hampstead although it seems to be struggling to find audiences these days. yoyolovestheatre you have probably already seen this by now given that it closes at the weekend but I think you would be mostly OK in the front row. I was in row E in the Pit and couldn't see to the back of the upper level, but not much happens up there and what is significant is on a bit of the upper level that is cut back and more visible. Probably would have had a better view for this show from the Dress Circle, but I don't think Pit front row would be too bad.

I saw the last performance yesterday and agree with n1david, it's a good piece of theatre. I would maybe want to chop 10 minutes out of it and there's a couple of directorial moments that faltered a little bit but it's quite a fresh, absorbing piece of work. It's funny how I could feel a couple of moments that worked well here echoing what Lopez later did with The Inheritance, but they're actually quite different plays. I don't think it would set the West End on fire but with slight refresh it would be cool to see it in the capital.
