Drama schools

Some of the best things I have seen over the last few years have been at the drama schools. Covering new plays, musicals (old and new), classic plays, opera…. , the variety is amazing.  At remarkably cheap prices in excellent theatres one can explore so many genres.  Directors are out to get best from their students, not to boost their own egos. The standards have to be seen to be believed - lighting, sound, costumes, sets, acting all of very high standards. Mountview, LAMDA, Rada, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Guildhall, Royal Academy of Music are all to be highly recommended. Currently they are coming towards the end of their academic year but watch out for Autumn.
