I fear these people may have become a little too invested in a one-off viral news story. It will fade rapidly from public memory I expect and by the time any of the planned movies/shows etc go into production, people will have long moved on from it.

You have a point - unless they can create something that is genuinely so funny that it can ignite interest again. But a half assed parody will be boring and old news unless they get it into a theatre next week. And even then, it might be too old.

I don't go to any pop up in a warehouse in Scotland any more. I'm sure they can be done well, but everything I've been to (chocolate event, antiques fair, jewellery showcase) has had little stalls/attractions set too far apart and looking a bit lonely and sad, it's always freezing, and there's never anywhere to sit. They never do anything with the lighting either which doesn't help.
