Anyone watch episode 1 of The Way last night?.
It's the bizarre love child of James Graham and Michael Sheen, who directs. I think it's going to be over and out for me. The BBC possibly feels the same, which is why it's been scheduled for Monday nights.

I've binged the whole thing on iPlayer (don't worry, no spoilers). The three episodes are quite different in tone - alongside Sheen and Graham the acclaimed documentary-maker Adam Curtis is involved and his contribution becomes more noticeable as the series goes on. Ultimately I thought there were some interesting ideas in it but it was trying to tell too many stories in too many different ways. Russell T Davies did something similar, and much more successfully in my opinion, in Years & Years.
