For anyone interested there will be an ABBA Fan Event where ABBA-The Movie will be screened in cinemas September 17 & 19 September.

The plotline of the movie itself is very thin and it's a mockumentary kinda of film and it includes that famous line from Agnetha "How can I comment on my sexy bottom, when I've never actually seen it?"
However it perfectly captures a little slice of Australia and the time and the mass hysteria of ABBA mania. Even though I was only 7 at the time and too young to attend the washed out open-aired Sydney concert, in my own little way, I was part of the hysteria.
(Personally) I think this is where Agnetha's mental health issues started.
Fact: Despite being on the other side of the world, no other country took to ABBA like Australia. So much so, that the spent 56 hours (at the time) to travel from Stockholm to Sydney.
Fernando spent 14 weeks at No.1- even by today's standards, that's phenomenal!
