Thank you for sharing the link, great to see the photos. It must’ve been an emotional ending for all involved.

Interestingly, Elliot Cowan has amended a caption tonight, too! Earlier he captioned his latest reel with “last #dayinalittlelife for now…”. Perhaps giving some hope for a Broadway transfer? He’s amended the caption to read “#forever” now but still… exciting! Unless he was referring to the pro shot which is going to be shown in september and then the encore shown on the 3rd oct?! Possibly! Although would he be posting a “#dayinalittlelife” grid post given that they won’t be actively involved in the cinema releases?

Or even see it I would imagine. To put forever is just as odd. I mean you wouldn’t. People probably asked too many questions in comments. Whatever. If this will happen you really just need to keep an eye on Bridgerton filming. I can’t imagine that id they are transferring thst the announcement will be too long.

He deleted it from his grid though. It’s all over Twitter now anyway. No, it is still in the post I linked.

Does anyone know the song to which 'Willem' let's rip his dance moves in act two? Is it 'Wake Up' by Arcade Five.
Thanks

Trailer released for the cinema screenings - I got goosebumps and welled up watching this, and it’s only a minute long!
It looks like the camera angles and filming multiple performances will make this a pretty impressive filmed version.

Really in two minds about this. I'd love to see those performances again, but is the memory of it live best left alone?

It looks like the camera angles and filming multiple performances will make this a pretty impressive filmed version. Filming it over 3 performances was such a great idea as it meant they could get different angles for each scene without it being too distracting for the audience that day. I've got 2 cinema screenings booked - once with a friend who didn't see it and once alone so I can take it all in properly.

So glad I caught this one last time at the cinema today. Although I personally didn't like the way it was filmed. It felt more like a traditional film or TV series with lots of close ups. A bit too stylised for me. I think I prefer the way NT Live productions are presented where it almost feels like you are sat in the audience of the theatre.
I said it earlier in this thread too but Luke Thompson really was a standout for me in this production. Can't wait to see more of him and what he does next.

Went to see it tonight too. Quite liked the filming. Evocative in a different way. Far less exposing on both actors then the play was. I did know they filmed it over 3 performances so they had that luxury. Found the sound jarring to begin with. It did seem out of whack. Nortons performance doesn’t fail to impress again with its sheer energy but to be honest I found Thompson’s performance far more nuanced and subtle and perhaps the performance of the play. Also things I didn’t notice from the play because I was too far away…Norton was wearing a sleeve on all his arms throughout and Thompson seemed to be too when he cut himself. Harold again was brilliant.

Hi solotheatregoer, sweets7
Do they screen this with an interval?

It's shot so that he never goes full frontal, and in the brief moments in which they couldn't avoid it it's blurred

There were still quite a few walkouts in the showing I went to. The themes and content have been so publicised over the last few months, you would have thought people knew what they were letting themselves in for and become accustomed to it by now.

Lots left the showing I went to too. Before it started I heard someone say to the cinema staff that there's warnings on everything now, it's ridiculous. The same person left in the interval and didn't come back
