Ha yes. Glad its not just me that really didn't get the execution of Eliza's gasp'n'grasp at the end. Such a strange way to wrap the show up. In all honesty, I don't like the ending at all including the gasp. It's not a big song, it's not catchy, it's more a list of details and facts that they reel off. I found it quite flat and underwhelming. But I know a lot of people love it.

Really enjoyed this last night. Some comparisons with January:
Previously we sat in Row G in the Royal Circle - the view was clear and particularly good for appreciating the staging. This time we were in P in the stalls - I fretted a bit at first that the rake was so slight that I wasn't going to be able to see well, but I was on the aisle with no one behind me so could move a bit when necessary (which wasn't often.) This location was much better for catching facial expressions. Last time, we saw Jamael Westman as Hamilton - he sang well and was fine, but was a rather cold, arrogant Hamilton. This time, we saw the understudy Sifiso Mazibuko. He is apparently something of a legend as he is covering four of the roles. He is a more boyish and amiable Hamilton. Hamilton is described as 'young and scrappy' both Jamael and Sifiso get the 'young' but not such much the 'scrappy.' In repose Sifiso looks happy - which made Burr's advice of 'talk less, smile more' seem a bit redundant. However both are really confident performers - at no stage last night did it feel like something might go wrong. Both times Giles Terera gave what I thought was the stand out performance - he was possibly even better last night than in January. Eliza's reach and gasp at the end as mentioned above happened - yeah, not sure about that. 'Wait for it' was magic last night. The show was very tight and..... Mr Foxa liked it.
Hurrah!
So double thumbs up here.

Got my tickets sorted through Ticketmaster they also sorted my tickets out for my 2nd visit in August I am so excited for Friday can't believe it's come around so fast. Doesn't feel like it was that long ago it was January 2016 when I got the tickets and June nearly sold out instantly. Really looking forward to Friday night but worried with all the hype I might not enjoy it as much. I've haven't listened to the cast album at all this month as I want it to be new and fresh for when I see the west end cast. Hopefully the next hype will be for Waitress. but it will probably be Mean Girls.

Do people know whether tickets reduce in price nearer to the event, in order to make them more likely to sell? And if so, how much do they tend to be reduced by?

No. As discussed on the previous page, returned tickets get put back online with prices usually higher than they were first sold for, until the last few hours. In person at the counter on a quiet day any box office in London may help you a bit, but it's unusual and unlikely. Thank you for your help. Constant refreshing for any returns it is for me!

As said before, whilst their anti-touting approach is commendable to stop third party sellers overcharging for tickets, why is it OK for the theatre to resell returns for more than the original listed price?

Back in March my friend got a Premium seat in Stalls row E centre reduced to £57.50 about half an hour before curtain up. A few more people queuing for returns got the same or similar deal.

Further to my previous messages, I just bought a Stalls seat row J for £100. It was £200 half an hour ago, so not sure what happened there...

My friend on her first real night out since having a baby absolutely loved it! She’d had a hot, stuffy awkward day with the baby and several logistical childcare and travel issues, so really wasn’t in the best frame of mind when we got there, so I pretty much shut up with talking up the show and just let her experience it herself as she was going in totally blind. Then as soon as the interval started she jumped up shouting “I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT” over and over again.
That’s my girl.

I can no longer go to my scheduled performance of Hamilton and I want to request a refund. Is there a way I can request my refund on the ticketmaster.co.uk site? I tried help.ticketmaster.co.uk/contact-us/ but that link isn't working anymore. Any help would be wonderful thanks

I tried help.ticketmaster.co.uk/contact-us/ but that link isn't working anymore. Any help would be wonderful thanks I submitted an enquiry through the contact form on help.ticketmaster.co.uk yesterday with all the details of my order to do the same thing and received a reply today. Related: there should be a £20 seat for Monday going online soon for any bargain hunters!

Not many people skipped this for the football tonight, although 4 people in the front row of the Royal Circle showed up so late that they weren't allowed in until the interval!
Royal Circle slips for me tonight - not for a first time viewer as the ones stage right miss the staircase entirely and I couldn't see quite a bit on that side from A8. But as I know what happens it didn't matter so much and I finally got to see what happens on the right hand side of the balcony instead, so pluses and minuses.
I'm starting to join with the "is Giles ever on?" questioning - fourth time seeing the show today and third time that he hasn't been on, and that's on different days and spread over 8 months! Sifiso just gets better and better though, he really owns the role and I suspect a lot of people are unlikely to have realised he is the standby.
This is the first time I've seen Ash as Hamilton - what a contrast to Jamael! A much more youthful Hamilton in Act 1 which I think works very well, but I found him less believable as the older Hamilton until the lead in to It's Quiet Uptown. I also think he doesn't have as much chemistry with Rachelle as Jamael does.
Rachelle, Rachel and Christine were all on and I thought all were even better than last time I saw the show in April, Rachel especially. The ending also somehow just seemed to work better tonight, I think Rachelle has made her reaction a bit less OTT. Still can't understand a word Jason Pennycooke raps as Lafayette, but his Jefferson is growing on me. Washington is still the highlight.
Ensemble great as usual. Very loud audience (though luckily I didn't notice the idiot who apparently announced the football result halfway through Act 2 - I did see a lot of phone checking though, despite the ushers' best efforts) and instant full standing ovation at the end.

Not sure what combination I needed to use on the phone system to get a human being at Ticketmaster!

Well I managed to get a ticket to one of the late previews at 6pm the night before; it was row c of the dress circle which is now a premium seat I believe; I paid £59.50 or £57.50, my mind fails me, but either way I was in shock at the price I paid. Especially when I look at the prices now!

What number are you trying ctas? I seem to remember calling a different number to the usual 'Hamilton' Ticketmaster one a while back. 0333 003 5938 is advertised as the number for lost cards, I'd try that at least your more likely to end up speaking to a human there. I've found with automated telephone systems that keypad mashing all the numbers can cause the software to freak out and after repeated attacks of all manner of number pressing for 10-20seconds it will stall and just divert to an actual operator.

It’s just the tm customer services number (don’t know if that’s what that is).

Yep, that was the one I tried - found it in this thread originally! As soon as I said Hamilton it just reeled off the message and then ended the call, very annoying! Luckily their response time to the contact form was very speedy.

I saw this again last week. Went to on Tuesday and all the principals were on except for Giles Terera and I really missed him. Sifiso Mazibuko does a decent enough job as Burr and kudos to him for being able to cover four of the main characters, but he doesn't command the stage the way Terera does. I know some people here are not too keen on Terera but for me he's perfect as Burr.

I missed Giles on my first visit and am desperate to catch him as Burr, but his schedule seems very erratic and unpredictable, and he's still taking quite a few shows off per week.
