Was also thinking the same, would be surprised if they haven’t recorded all performances as it is easy to do and they could pick the ‘best’ for future transmission.

Yeah I'm thinking they must have recorded a stream, would have been mad not to.

They must have done - if only for a back up in case the live stream went down at some point.
Watched it tonight. Obviously it’s not the same when you can’t feel the ‘snow’ falling on you and participate in the sausage human chain, but still properly joyous. It definitely made me tear up a time or two.

I've watched several of these Zoom shows now, and tonight's was one of the tightest technically. The improvements they are making from show to show are great. Hope those who have future bookings get to see the show live.

There's no reason why it shouldn't go ahead even with the tier four restrictions. Professional TV and filming is allowed to continue - and I'm sure that live streaming professional theatre work would fall into that category.

I zoomed my niece this morning to try and get them to test their tv in advance of tomorrow, I never wish to see myself on a giant flat screen tv ever again, most alarming. Now they need to a)remember b)not have a wifi fail and c)deal somehow with the toddlers.

Watched this just now. Excellent and imaginatively done. We managed to see it on big screen tv with a cable Who knew? Well I do now. It did pull me in and the music was lovely.

Ah lynette I missed you at the theatre again! And you're officially more tech savy that my sister and her two teens. With half an hour to go there's me on the phone trying to work out why it's not showing up on their tv and going have you read the guidance i sent you (obvioulsy no) try this while I can hear my nephew just shouting ya ya ya at me. It was very well done, most clever all that camera work, I was a bit confused to start with, was expecting just flat filiming. Yes the music made me want to sing.

Great to see this is making a return for another year. Get those mice pies cooked and satsumas bought Old Vic. This year's production will be extra special, I think after everything we have all gone through.

It has just won five Tony Awards, for best score, costumes, set/lighting/sound design: it won everything it was nominated for.

Hello! I saw this play on Broadway back in 2019 and loved the adaptation. I also watched it online last year starring Andrew Lincoln. I'll be in London later this month and am thinking of getting a ticket to watch this show. Am looking forward to hear from anyone who will be watching this during previews to see if they made any changes due to covid, etc. So excited!

I will be watching it for the 3rd time next week.
I hope they didn't make changes to the free mince pies. 😂

We’re going to the matinee next Saturday and taking my seven year old to see it for the first time. I’m so excited - have been desperate to take her to see this for years as I view it as the start of the Christmas season!

Was thrilled to be able to snag one of the little groups of 4 seats on the side of the stage during the £10 preview sale (those seats are usually £125 each!) for this coming Wednesday. I don't care if it's still mid November, I've told those that I am taking that it will be impossible to not feel Christmassy after seeing this!
