Very sad news: Emmy Award-winner, Anne Heche, who become one of first Hollywood's leading ladies to live in an openly gay relationship, died at age of just 53 after a car crash.

Deepest condolences to Ms Heche's family and friends. RIP.

Don't we get to be happy? At some point down the line, don't we get to relax without some new tsuris to push me yet further from you!

I think I only ever saw her in a couple of films and they were a long, long time ago (I don’t remember her in Donnie Brasco for instance) I read about her life in her obituary on the BBC website earlier and good Lord, she went through a lot of struggles in her life. Rest In Peace Anne.
