It's one thing offering a defence of the lad. Perhaps he has issues going on we don't know about which explain his conduct, it's another trying to control what people can discuss. This is a theatre discussion board.
If a performer, any performer, acts like a wally on their public social media, they can expect blowback.
It's worth noting for all his moaning and unprofessionalism he has never once - ever - tried to justify why he says and acts the way he does. It's just "what I've been through".
Maybe if he actually said what he's allegedly "been through" people might see him as someone who has acted like a fool, but with an underlying cause.
As it stands, Dave is just someone who acts like a prat on social media without the talent or credits to justify such an enormous ego.

I agree with the posts above Dave does at worse come across as a bit of a plonker on his social media, he isn't offensive and he has only been criticizised on here when he went off script in a show. The comments about Cinderella cast who were bad mouthing the Producers having that come back to haunt them at future castings are a reality.
I've never seen Rodders perform and if he is getting cast in shows he must be a solid performer. To be a performer you have to be confident and Rodney is clearly an extrovert and very flamboyant.
I hope he can get steady work in the industry and also provide some entertainment via his social media. If he is getting more followers and being discussed he probably likes it and he seemed to brush off the people who tweeted him about when he went off script. To have the personality that he does he must get comments and have fairly broad shoulders so us watching his postings for entertainment and have a chuckle when he does something amusing would be of little concern to him IMO.
If he has been cast by Disney then he must be able to deliver in the auditioning process and conduct himself professionally in a show. If there had been issues with him in Cinderella these would have soon been flagged up and him either not cast or he will be expected to show the right decorum backstage and a quiet word may be had if Frozen producers have heard about any antics and he is told "that won't ride here"

Still can’t wrap my head around that he had NINE warnings....🤯

I'd heard he'd had warnings surely if he got that many he should have gone unless they were for what we might call trivial things. Usually it is verbal, first written warning, final written warning then possible sacking. There would be procedures which would be agreed by Producers and Equity for things like this regardless of whether said performer is Equity member.
