Magical though that is, I think they are two-dimensional rather than holograms. Do we have the capability of creating holographic motion video on that scale even in 2023? (If not, it can't be far off.)

That was probably just a use of Pepper's Ghost which has been around for over 150 years!

That was probably just a use of Pepper's Ghost which has been around for over 150 years! I wasn't sure watching the video. For each of Morecambe and Wise, we might be looking directly at a UHD screen, rather than the reflection of the screen in a mirror.

The video is too poor to tell I agree, but a screen will always look flat to an audience whereas a well designed mirror system can give depth (especially if the video projected onto it has some fake depth applied itself). It's amazing how convincing Pepper's Ghost can be with modern projection equipment.
