Not much luck has been needed as tickets have been readily available right up until last night's performance.
After seeing the rehearsal videos of Block and Klana solos, I returned mine as they were not previewing anything I wanted to sit through having experienced both Buckley and Close.

Interesting! Feedback on IG from superfan and The Sunset Project podcast creator Broadway Bob is that is fabulous.

I imagine it depends a bit on what one wants from Norma, as well as if one is predisposed to appreciate Block. Several commenters on Broadway World also did not like the solo numbers from rehearsal.

Broadway.com (Paul Wonterek) is going to be dropping interviews with the stars any day now.

Norma is such a complex and fascinating character. Every single female actress who has played the role has performed it differently.
I adore Stephanie J Block - but from all the videos i saw of her, her version of Norma was shockingly one of my least favourite.
There was nothing faded about her personification at all - too confident, too sexy, too GOOD! There needs to be fragility to Norma, a sense of yesteryear to her character and a hesitant desperation (if that makes sense?) - something that Glen, Elaine and Betty all did brilliantly.
