I love Jeremy, but a cappella is with no piano or cello. No musical accompanyment. I have heard it sung that way before with a violin and piano and it was beautiful but not a cappella.

I'm so excited for tonight. Did he sing his mash-up of Somewhere Over The Rainbow and Home? The last minute of that is just sublime 😀

What time did yesterday’s concert finish? Emailed the organisers and the venue for a running time, but no-one seems to be able to give me an answer!

Answering the two questions above.
No he didn't sing Home but apparently the set list is a bit different each show so maybe he will.
The concert was about 2hrs 15min last night but I'd say normally two hours as there were a few delays and mess ups last night which probably accounted for that extra 15.

Mine has arrived, but I did move from the Sunday to the Saturday performance so it might be slightly different. I called them yesterday and they said to use the original tickets.

Well. I think he did the same set mentioned by anthony40 above. I thought the first half was more successful than the second personally and there was a bit where he took us through songs he wrote as a teenager which I thought went on for a bit too long. He's an absolute charmer though and no effort whatsoever with his voice. I think I shall write a strongly worded letter to Cadogan Hall though. I spied a nice pair of arms but JJ chose to hide them under a cardigan. I thought the knitwear might have been set aside for the second half but no. That just isn't cricket, especially when the audience mainly consisted of the girls and the gays. Loved the sassy piano player too. I also met @emicardiff plus mother (hers not mine) which was an absolute delight and the joy of having so many fangirls at a show meant that you could get to the bar quickly and easily. I'd say that was a result.

Wonderful show this afternoon. Despite around 900 people in attendance, there was a wonderful, relaxed intimacy to the afternoon - set by the opening number, encouraged by Jeremy and helped by such a great venue (first timer). Around the 2 hour mark in total but it still felt short - happily would have stayed for a 3rd act!
Stand outs: - Wonderful version of Beautiful Morning that opened the show - Key change in that song from Waitress - Smash medley - Raise a Little Hell from B&C - Under The Sea - Bring Him Home (with accompaniment but sung without a microphone)
Glad to hear he’s working on a solo album and that the songs he performed from it are quite good. One of them was about being under water or something, which I found ironic after he had done Under The Sea. His ‘All Coming Back To Me Now’ was a great ending to the show... but he over played it with the ‘comedic’ ‘I-don’t-want-to-sing-this-but-I-will-for-you’ moments.

It was indeed my utter joy to meet @ryan today!
And Jezza wasn’t too shabby either. Even if he did keep his best cardie on throughout.
Joking aside he is a very natural concert performer- excellent rapport with the audience and a nice mix of songs to keep everyone (including my Mum) happy. Even though I don’t know Smash that medley was great, as was the rest of the musical numbers. And being *cough* the same age as him exactly I also have a soft spot for my teenage angst listening to Keane.
I also would have paid the ticket price to hear “She Used to be Mine” live. I discovered him via that YouTube video, and I adore that song. I even welled up a bit. And “It’s all Coming Back” was delightfully entertaining.
All in all we could all do with being a bit more/having a bit more Jeremy Jordan- not taking life too seriously and being a little bit *jazz hands*

Was also at the afternoon show and thought he was absolutely amazing! He sings so effortlessly and is such a natural performer. After watching videos on YouTube for years I’m so happy to have finally seen him perform live. I need a recording of his ‘Oh what a beautiful morning!’

Has he ever mentioned this R&H project before? It sounded pretty interesting tbh, which is a shame as it also sounded pretty cancelled.

Sounds like the concerts have been great, thanks for the reviews especially anthony40 for all the detail. Did he just sing the one song from Newsies? Fingers crossed he returns for a UK tour one day!

My guess is he will be back when he can as he sold out 3 shows with no effort at all and that's 2700 seats. Interesting to hear him say that Smash was a bigger hit in the UK than it was in the USA.
On a different note seems we all loved his version of "oh what a beautiful morning". Well Kyle Riabko (who did Bacharach reimagined) has also done a CD called Richard Rogers reimagined that includes a version of the same song that is really interesting.
Did anyone buy the signed programme or poster? The queue went on forever so I didn't bother. Wish I had now.

Is anyone else (somewhat) frustrated by the fact that you mention Jeremy Jordan, and people are like “Who?”
Grrr!

I bought the signed programme after - no queues. Waste of money really - 3 pieces of cardboard stapled and folded over with a bunch of adverts and 1 & 1/2 pages of an interview. Still... cute face on the front so all good I suppose ha.

I imagine he’ll do a series of shows when he drops his album... they must have made a fortune this weekend so it’ll be crazy not to try and build on that - maybe he’ll do his own west end debut and do a week in a theatre?
They really should try and get him to reprise his role in B&C if it actually does come to the west end.

Sorry @ryan, we had Jeremy in a t-shirt for the last half hour. I can confirm that the arms are lovely. I can also confirm that the waistband of his pants was red. Thought you might wanna know!
Amazing concert. He's so effortless. Every belt was incredible.
I could've done without The Schmuel Song (mainly because I hate it) and it was a waste of 10 minutes, as were the songs from his teenage years. But She Used To Be Mine was fantastic and Bring Him Home was just spectacular. Also loved the arrangements of Under The Sea and Oh What A Beautiful Morning.
So glad I saw him. Just brilliant.
Also thrilled about the B&C rumour if that does turn out to be true!

The Sunday matinee audience did get a glimpse of red pant waistband but I am guessing we were pre watershed to be able to view bare arms.

I was at both shows on Sunday. I don't want to be dramatic but I've been to Broadway twice, I've seen many shows and concerts in UK and around the world but I can honestly say this day with Jeremy Jordan was the best day of my life! He was absolutely amazing. His voice is just out of this world! He was so funny, genuine, humble. I love him to bits! And I have a picture with him! This day made me realize again how lucky and grateful I am to have this passion for musical theatre in my life. Yes I am constatly broke but SO DAMN HAPPY!!!
