So happy to see this: I wanted to go see it at the ND, but never got around to, and now I get a second chance. Definitely will try to see it at the Court.
Has anyone seen it already? :)

I saw it - one of the best show's ive ever seen and I dont say that lightly. So beautiful and full of life, joy, and humour as well as the darker and more expected themes.

A hugely well deserved standing ovation for this tonight. Absolutely beautiful, superb cast and writing.
2h25m, out just about 10pm. Didn't feel like it, I was engrossed from start to finish. Even the interval conversations, the ones I had and the ones I overheard were of people stunned and engrossed. I think this is going to do phenomenally well at the Royal Court and tickets could get really scare really fast. Pretty sure it was sold out tonight on second or third preview, been a while since I've seen RC full, even on a £12 Monday.

Question, please, for those who have seen it. This is an awkward one to ask but I gave up not far in with a couple of other productions at the Royal Court recently because I couldn't understand what the cast members were saying. I think the plays may also not have been to my taste anyway, but it's frustrating and infuriating to look forward to something well-reviewed and then to feel stupid because you can't follow the dialogue. So is this likely to be an issue in this case, please?

Thank you so much, Dave B; really helpful. Now to find a matinee, given the running time!

I really enjoyed this. Thought the 6 actors were really giving it their all on stage. Can't wait to see what they do next with their careers.

Out of step here as I saw this, really didn't enjoy it and wished I had stuck with my original instinct that it was not for me. The rave press reviews and comments here persuaded me and I can see that it was very well done, but my main issue is that it's not a play at all, just a series of scenes, so an impossible hurdle for it to overcome as far as I'm concerned. I considered leaving at the interval but decided to hang on to see what, if anything, happened - which it didn't, really: just more of the same mysterious writhing around for several minutes and then the various characters continuing with their individual stories and bonding with each other. Obviously it wasn't aimed at me but I gave it a go anyway, so will put it down, as so often, to experience. Good to try to broaden your theatrical horizons but after this, I needed to retreat to my comfort zone.
Admittedly I was also p****d off with the Royal Court by the time this started as they make such a big deal of latecomers not being admitted (yes, right!) and in order to get there on time, I had had to miss the end of a film (which had started late due to a technical issue), yet well after 2.30 pm the lights stayed up and people were drifting in, clutching drinks and there wasn't even an announcment about the delay, let alone an apology, which is discourteous to those who do make the effort to arrive punctually and makes a nonsense of all the warnings about the need to do so.

I agree with showgirl . The opening dance sequence was approximately 9 minutes long and the confessionals never really added up for me. Yet I have to admit the capacity crowd at the Court was wildly enthusiastic. After the interval there were a number of empty seats throughout the stalls but those that stayed were for happy they did so. I know it was sincere and that its heart was in the right place, but I found it to be an indulgent bore.

Booking is open, possibly for people on a Nimax mailing list, or more widely, not too sure .. Anyway, booked the same back-of-Stalls seats as per Jerusalem. Lovely little theatre

I've just booked for this. Fair ticket prices I think, presumably as it isn't going to be widely known. £49.50 for decent stalls seats on row E is a bargain nowadays!

Caught this recently - but it wasn’t for me. I can appreciate why it has an audience (not to come across patronising) but I just couldn’t relate for obvious reasons. The production design was cool, I was laughing at some points but I felt uncomfortable. I think I will stick to musicals!!!!

It was fine, though a performance piece rather than a 3-act play with character development and dramatic arcs. A solid blend of well-made points, humour and engaging presentation.
It's also part of an ongoing discussion, a progression - recent excellent quality productions at Seven Dials Playhouse (Foxes) and Sadler's Wells (Traplord) had less profile but made strong contributions to themes covered here.

I saw this on Sunday without really knowing what to expect and thought it was fantastic! Very different to a usual play but I there were some funny moments and some extremely moving parts. It definitely has something to say and does so skillfully. Theatre looked full so the news about it has obviously spread!
