Dear all,
Hoping someone on here can help with this question.
I have been trying to get hold of a Back to the Future musical theatre poster.
What should be a relatively task is proving to near impossible!
They are not selling them via their website under merchandise.
Although I have not seen the show, I have been down to the theatre and spoked to both front of house staff and the box office.
Both tweets and emails are not being responded to.
I would email the producers, but according to the website, there are several.
Ugh!
Any advice?

In the past I’ve bought most of my theatre posters on eBay.

Maybe try contacting Dewynters? They handle the marketing for BTTF so might at least be able to point you in the right direction.

They do sell the 'Marty McFly and the Pinheads' poster at the theatre but not the one with the plays branding it seems...

I’ve been lucky at those Ticket booths on Leicester Square before. If you ask nicely they might give you one of theirs. That’s how I got a Priscilla poster after the show closed.
A friend of mine once contacted someone from the tube (I don’t remember who exactly, sorry) and managed to get one of those Ghost posters with Cassie and Richard on them that were not sold at the theatre.
Maybe you could try this as well.

I’ve always got mine previously via eBay, but availability and selection (and prices!) is not what used to be…

I used to collect show posters but it's just impossible to get them these days unfortunately. You don't see them around town as much either.

This is bringing back fond memories of visits to the Dress Circle shop off Seven Dials. I was still fairly young when it closed down but loved visiting. I think if it were still there I would spend hours browsing. My next best thing now is probably a trip to Foyles!

You used to be able to 'acquire' them off the entrance walls of pubs and cafes around Central London but they seem to have stopped distributing them to such places these days. Maybe that will start up again when more tourists return and we can happily pilfer show posters once more.
