This was supposedly going to be filmed right? But as far as I can tell it hasn't. Is it possible knowing that a transfer was coming they've decided to do it at the new venue instead? If it's going to be staged in a proscenium arch then it'll certainly be easier, I've no idea how they could have done it at the Young Vic. I still think a transfer is ill-advised unless they can keep the staging but I suppose if we get a pro-shot out of it then maybe it's worth it.

It's going into a set up like the US Tour, so into a proscenium.
Always on the cards with Sonia Freidman and Michael Harrison as co-producers

Will they bite the bullet and change that cursed dream "ballet"? One of the longest 10-15 minutes I've ever spent in a theatre - it felt like hours.

It was like watching someone have a seizure and being unable to help them

Not necessarily but it's the only traditional theatre that's going to be free in the Autumn so does line up.

The Wyndham's might be an option from November if Pi finishes in October.

Oklahoma! for the Phoenix maybe? I suspect too big at 1000 seats.

We can cross out the Noel Coward as a potential home for Oklahoma! as The Best of Enemies is going there in November.

I wonder if Life of Pi will extend beyond end of October? Pi is extending to beginning of January and then closing. I hear The Unfriend may be going in there afterwards.

Surprised The Unfriend is waiting until the beginning of next year rather than the Autumn but I assume the cast has other commitments.

Oklahoma is going into the Wyndhams this year. This can't happen until January when Life of Pi closes.

Clearly had bad insider info! To be honest it’s a shame Pi is closing at all. Hopefully they will make it into a tour.

It is going into the Wyndhams, but pushed until end of Jan Wonder where The Unfriend is going as that was looking at the Wyndham's according to MrB.

Interesting... I'd heard Oklahoma from someone in the team was Wyndhams. MrB usually correct though!

I think The Unfriend could potentially go to the Ambassadors? Mad House is there till September and nothing announced after that.
Also if Oklahoma is in the Wyndams then hopefully they can adapt the space a bit so it is not just in proscenium arch like they have done with Life of Pi and even Lad Day at Emersons bar and grill.
