A "Thank you" doesn't cost you anything.

It happens and it’s been remarked upon before but for every person who doesn’t bother to respond to/like a helpful reply there is someone, probably multiple people who do. I think it’s just the nature of the internet, especially since Facebook and Twitter in that some people don’t feel that basic rules of etiquette apply.

What I think is more important is that our members remain unfailingly helpful and willing to assist fellow theatregoers whether they get thanked for it or not. So that’s something we can all appreciate and give them kudos for.
