This is going to be unlike any 'in concert' thing we've seen in the UK before... And not much of a concert anymore, so I hear. More a semi-staged production.

This is going to be unlike any 'in concert' thing we've seen in the UK before... It will get that title just from all the screaming that will happen the minute Mr Jordan steps onto the stage.
A genuine question, why Bonnie and Clyde in Concert? has it become a popular title in recent years? it has some good songs, but there's a lot of filler in there as well. I know Jeremy Jordan and Laura Osnes have their fans, so was it a way to bring them to the UK together? Is it the last roll of the dice to eventually get the show in a full production into the West End?

Is anyone else who booked through LW Theatres for Monday still waiting for their ticket? I’m not sure if I should be concerned that I haven’t received it yet or not.

You should receive your ticket tomorrow, probably late afternoon. They only issue tickets about 24 hours in advance.

Just seen on Jeremy Jordan Instagram that if you have pre ordered a programme you can just collect it by showing proof of purchase and they are also reserving 150 signed copies to buy on the night along with some other merch.

Yes I think so, I also wondered if it was a pin/badge on the t-shirt as well? Or is that just some more printed text! Couldn't really make it out! Think it will be a mug and tote bag for me :-)

My coat is now in the cloakroom so I'm wearing a jumper with a large sparkly star on it. The afternoon tea here is stunning, loving it.

I am here now.
A VERY busy foyer.
If you intend to purchase merchandise or pick up a signed programme, my advice is to get here early and allow a lot of time to do so.
There are two separate queues.

Anyone who was there tonight, I hope you loved it.
Anyone who's there tomorrow, you will love it.
Anyone who couldn't make it this time, I'm certain it will come back in some form, they've put too much thought and care and effort into it for just two nights. The audience's reaction was fantastic and there is clearly a big market for it. Whether it would have the same appeal without Jeremy remains to be seen, but word of mouth for the show itself will be strong.
Calling it a concert is selling it short, it's not far off a full production, with sets and props and costumes. Everyone is brilliant, particularly Natalie McQueen and Trevor Dion Nicholas, and of course the leads. Frances Mayli McCann is proper leading lady material, and Jeremy lives up to expectations again. No he can't pass for 25 anymore but the voice is sublime.
Wildhorn, Black and Menchell were all in the audience, as were Tim Rice and Sam Tutty.
Definitely get there early, the queues are mental. I think it started about 7.40 after a speech from a producer, and finished at 10.05.

More a semi-staged production. The staging was very good... each portion of the set told you exactly where they were and enough dialog was spoken that you knew the context of the song (even if, like me, you weren't familiar with the original). Although I am curious, the 'concert' was 2-1/2 hours with an interval... how long was the 'full' version? I found this version very satisfying and have a hard time imagining more talking would have improved it. It did definitely feel like an 'insider' event with lots of schmoozing and smooching among the audience. The three authors were there... Ivan Menchell, Don Black and Frank Wildhorn. And some folks around me were lip-syncing to the songs (but not singing out loud, thank goodness!), so definitely an audience of fans. The show was filmed for future broadcast and streaming (as will tomorrow night). They made a special announcement to turn off phones (not just mute or put on vibrate) because of the filming. Altogether a unique and thoroughly enjoyable event.
