There will be a hell of a lot of pointless filler this weekend with two contestants going unexpectedly AWOL. Tess will no doubt keep us amused with her witty repartee and improvisation skills. Not!

They have reduced the final show from 4 to 3 couples.
But if Ugo goes as well (which is possible considering he has needed emergency surgery this week), they might need to finish a week early...

I hate when the judges have obvious favourites. Craig was the only one who gave AJ's Samba the score it deserved. She is an excellent dancer but was rubbish this week. Judi got marked down far more for a better dance!

I see Robert Webb called the show 'brutal' and 'weird'. He said it was probably too early in his recovery (from heart surgery) to do the show, which is why he left. But also said that there was a camera everywhere always and not enough time to learn actual dancing. The experience wasn't what he imagined.
Filming those VT's which appear before the live dance (almost as long as the dance itself now), filming for all the bits on social media, appearances on It Takes Two and other programmes; it does seem the celebs have a lot to do, I know they are getting a nice fee, but from my point of view, I would like it to be more about the process of learning the dance and less about them doing a cool Tik Toc. Maybe I'm just old now and not with it anymore!!!!!
I know Sophie Ellis Bextor was saying something slightly negative about her time on the show recently, I didn't read the article but I think it was more about her personal circumstances/marriage rather then the show?
Still, most of the celebs seem to enjoy it and just get on with it.

I am sorry that Robert wasn’t able to continue but he must have watched the show so he would know as an experienced tv person how it works with the extra bits filmed and so on.

He's probably fit enough on paper to perform but given the grueling schedule and all the other promo stuff that's required he decided it's not worth putting his health at risk when he's had a fairly recent health scare. Perfectly reasonable and sensible.
