It's been confirmed that Anton is to replace Bruno as the fourth judge.

Sad to lose Bruno, but Anton was great when he did his guest stint as a judge and will do really well.

It just says for this series, so assume Bruno will go back to it after 2021. I actually didn't like Anton judging but am glad he isn't dancing as it was getting a bit ridiculous as he stood out so much from the others. Will be interesting to see who will be dancing!

Big changes this year, with Zoe leaving ITT as well and being replaced by Janette (who I wonder if she's newly pregnant and that's why she's presenting and not dancing?).
So with no Anton or Janette dancing, will we see some new pros? Or just promotions of the likes of Graziano and Neil?

Thanks for creating a new thread for this.
Anyone know why Bruno is not involved this year?

Anyone know why Bruno is not involved this year? It's due to him judging Dancing with the stars in USA and the difficulties with travel, like last year. Not sure if he will appear by video like last year.

So with no Anton or Janette dancing, will we see some new pros? Or just promotions of the likes of Graziano and Neil? I assume that a couple of the dancers that were in the troupe will be promoted to coupled up pros and they might add a few dancers to the troupe? Especially with people potentially having to drop out for a bit if they have been in contact with someone who has Covid or if they get covid themselves, so would guess they'd bolster up the troupe this year, just in case?

Nancy Xu I can see replacing Janette. They will be having a 12-13 week run this year so it's likely Neil and Graziano will replace not just Anton but also those who left in 2019 like Kevin and AJ so new pros in the troupe is very likely.

I'm glad they're going back up to four judges. Having only three made the amount of leaderboard ties ridiculous.
I thought Anton was quite good, but probably a bit generous, maybe because he'd been dancing alongside them as a pro and was going back to that. I think as a proper judge his marking will be fine. It'll also be nice to have a ballroom specialist back on.

That does feel very early.
Let's see if they start with the same sex couple to grab attention

I love watching the One Show on Wednesdays, just for Matt Allwright's segment, so now I'm even more excited for it!

I saw her for the first time on The Wheel last week.
She didn't know what the bird was in "Morning Has Broken".

AJ Odudu is not exactly a household name but she is a familiar figure
But she does seem to play the loud professional northerner just a bit too much

True, she did know what you put on top of a Lancashire hotpot.

Didn't she say 'cuckoo' (one of the choices) couldn't be right 'cos it was a sound, not a bird

Nothing can beat Maura Higgins on The Wheel last series asking the contestant whether a soprano was a type of fish, the reaction from the contestant was priceless!
Back to Strictly, Tom Fletcher is a solid choice although I wonder if Giovanna winning I'm A Celebrity prompted him to go on a reality show, his fellow McFly band members have all done one including Harry who actually won Strictly.

I thought it was one of those ones everybody knew from school, like All Things Bright and Beautiful. There's another person being announced on Radio 2 this morning.

Didn't she say 'cuckoo' (one of the choices) couldn't be right 'cos it was a sound, not a bird If she lives near me she would have been correct. Morning chorus lead by the cuckoo whilst the blackbird is prolific at dusk. Guess we just assume everybody knows the hymn
