They really do keep casting absolute stunners in this.

I look forward to the next cast of Honey G and Biggins.
I have yet to see this and should do so soon as I would much rather see the stars who are actually actors and who I can put trust in.

I saw Laura Whitmore in one of the Peter James plays opposite Shane Richie and she was perfectly competent.

This casting is so chaotic and I am here for it.

I saw this on Sunday for the 2nd time (first time was with the OG cast).
This cast is GOOD. Tom Felton was a huge surprise, he plays Sam brilliantly and you couldn't take your eyes off him. Sam Swainsbury was great, Beatriz Romilly was mesmerising when she breaks down and Mandip Gill plays a much more likeable Jenny, albeit a bit shouty for my liking, but I guess her character was trying to be heard.
I enjoyed it far more this time, the play felt more rounded out and there were less random flashing lights and screams, which meant you could really immerse yourself in it.
I probably won't go and see the next cast, but think you should catch this one if you can.

Wait wait wait have they gotten rid of the screams at the end of the scenes? They were one of the more offensively lazy parts of this play from back when I saw it.

Has anyone been to see this since Laura Whitmore started? Is she any good?

This appears to be ending in January to make way for The Unfriend. Is the new cast just now selling? I wonder if 2:22 moves to a different theatre where they can continue the rotating casts.

Saw this yesterday and I have to say as a horror fan I was left underwhelmed. I thought as a ghost story it was clever but the transitional jump scares where very weak. It would have worked better as 90 minute no interval with a focus more on the tension. It was enjoyable enough but nowhere as scary as Ghost Stories.
Also no Laura Whitmore yesterday. I can't say this made me sad but there was no mention of this in the foyer or online. I can see via instagram she is in America at the moment so it all seems a bit odd. Understudy was good however, as was whole cast.

Reportedly going to fill in The Lyric between Get Up and Aspects. Not sure how that makes economic sense, but it's not my money. What is the record for number of theatres that a first run show has played in? Lyric will be #4 and I presume there will be a #5 when 2:22 has to leave for Aspects.

Enough with the passive aggression! I doubt Rory was suggesting the Lyric should go dark. Please bear a thought for the Mod team. We only have a limited number of characters at our disposal for thread titles. 😒

I had been hoping for Into the Woods or something like Handbagged transferring from the Kiln. 2:22 is an enjoyable piece of hokum and good luck to them if it's continuing to do well, it just would be nice to have a really good new play or a good revival of a play in the Lyric after all the Thriller years etc.

I love the ongoing marketing campaign for this with the four performers, in whatever ragtag assemblage has been got together for the moment, always staring stern-faced into the camera. Hilarious, and kind of silly (just like the show).

Love me some melodrama trash, with beautiful people acting (badly, sometimes) - I’ll be seeing this in a two day show along with My Neighbour Totoro. Been curious about this for a while.
If it’s anything as good/bad as The Exorcist I’ll love it.

The Exorcist had me giggling like a child at times, it was surreal hearing Sir Ian spit out the “C word”. It was like a fever dream at times. And I loved how naff the effects looked from the front rows, it was a blast. And Adam Garcia is always good fun. Sometimes worse can be better! I’m looking forward to this regardless, even though I’ve had the twist spoiled (my fault!) it sounds like I’ll enjoy it!
