Ria has a right good old gossip about her career. It’s all there, Cats, Joseph, Sydmonton Norma, playing Evita at the age of 19, being the love child of Shirley Bassey and Tom Jones, and performing for Glenn at the Coliseum (and the audience reaction)

What a flipping fantastic interview! I've met Ria several times when she's been performing at our theatre, and she really is such a genuine and warm person. I loved her Shirley stories (and impersonations), and the "Now go..." one too - great to hear about her inner smugness after all the boos! :-) |
