With Heathers only booking until mid February and no announcement of another extension (yet), I wonder what is next planned for the main house.

Nothing to back this up but just have a feeling that Emojiland might make an appearance here at some point.

When Heathers closes, they’ll announce it well in advance and bill it as a final extension. It is very successful, even with discounting. I can’t imagine any producers who will looking to replace Heathers any time soon.

I think 'lost forever' is a bit dramatic... if a successful musical is bringing in punters there then it's a better state of play than a lot of previous programming... and the studio has been programming a lot of brand-new musicals (and MTFest) that could then make the leap to the main stage in time.

With the closing of Heathers seems a good time to resurrect this thread!

I believe Heathers is the only thing to play in the main theatre since Bill Kenwright bought it?
I wonder he has got that he thinks will make more money? Is anything from the studio of the turbine ready to step up?

Wonder if Halls might make the move over eventually. Always hope for the Prom to finally get a production, and wonder if Empjiland has a shout after its concert. Maybe Cake gets a future life after it’s your earlier this year?

I've noticed that there is nothing announced for the studio theatre there after September 3rd. (Same day Heather's closing) Do they normally only announce a couple of months of Studio shows? Hoping it doesn't mean theatre will be dark for a extended period?

Ride the Cyclone? BatBoy? Those seem like fits for the Heathers crowd.

Assuming it won’t be Cake now as that’s just announced a week at the lyric theatre

Does seem to confirm the suggestion that Kenwright can no longer get shows into West End theatres,
