Piece in the paper today about this place. I didn't know it existed. Sounds marvellous and they have kept going streaming and live. Interesting idea the director has that theatres in the future should embrace this duality of live and streaming. Anyone know this place?

It is a dreadful to get to by public transport. Not too difficult really. At least it wasn't pre-Covid. I live in Kent and saw three shows there in 2019 using public transport. I had booked Brigadoon (which has a thread of its own) for last summer. That had to be cancelled but will hopefully be rescheduled National Express London to Gloucester route stops right outside the theatre and the standard timetable works well for matinee performances. Combining train and bus there's Stagecoach 51 service from Swindon, which is a pleasant one-hour journey mostly through the countryside. From the north there's the same 51 bus from Gloucester. Nearest railway station is Kemble but very limited public transport from there to Cirencester. It is indeed a lovely little theatre. Their production of Daddy Long Legs is in my personal top ten of 2019. Cirencester is a nice town to walk round and there's even a top-notch chippy a few minutes walk from the theatre.
