No offence to them but I was hoping Spring Awakening would transfer here. Or a decent play.

Caught the first night with the new cast last night. I went with very low expectation based on the comments here, but we loved it!
It’s really stupid and there were a couple of periods of about 10 minutes that could have been cut, but the rest was very enjoyable - my face was aching by the end from laughing.
I thought the whole cast were pretty great. Holly Stars was definitely the stand out for me - I’d not heard of them before but will definitely be looking out for what they do next. Jujubee and Kitty were also excellent.
The audience lapped it up with a full standing ovation at the end. There’s some (very) steep discounts to be found and I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. I think maybe if I’d have paid the full asking price I might have had a different opinion.

Would anybody be able to tell me if there’s any audience participation in this show?
Asking for a friend who’s seen a good deal in the stalls for this but isn’t too keen on getting picked on.

Saw Death Drop: Back In The Habit last night and it’s absolute rubbish. Shockingly bad. Victoria Scone was great, as was Louis Cyfer. Rest of the cast of the standard of an poor acting challenge on Drag Race. It’s just crude as. Now you might say you’d expect that. But there were opportunities for some word play or cleverness All sadly lacking. I did something I’ve never done before and left at the interval

I agree: saw this in December and was so cross that I'd spent a lot more than usual on this tripe and which I'd thought would be a treat. I was actually ashamed and embarrassed for getting it so wrong and wasting that much money - though no-one else knew until now. Unbelievably bad and I couldn't wait to escape but being mid-row, had to endure the first half.
