I’ll be interested to see if they get the rights to perform Tragedy in the show. It’s arguably Steps’ most well known song, but I presume they’ll need permission to include it.

More thoughts on this, I think the reason it WILL do well, is that there definitely seems to be a big crossover of Steps fans and Musical fans (and I'm not just talking about the gays). Same to be said for something like Titanique having huge success in the US.
People love to diss, but you can guarantee everyone will get up and dance to tragedy at a party (and know the moves).

You know you're getting older when a jukebox show is made from your childhood fave bands (or in my case its now beyond my 80s/90s era bands lol)
First of all it was ABBA, Queen, Rod Stewart etc.
Then we got into 80s and early 90s with Blondie, SAW, Take That etc
Now we are in the late 90s/early 00s with steps, Britney, max Martin etc.
It'll be One Direction soon

I'm afraid some of the gags were first used in autumn 2020. Awks!

Steps have a few songs which are covers but hopefully they can license them.
Stomp 100% needs to be in the show.

My pal got us tickets for one of the Saturdays. Couldn't quite get the ones he wanted so I'm guessing it's selling ok out of the gate?

I had to join a queue to book this morning! The first night had sold well when I was booking but plenty for the show I wanted. Haven’t checked out sales since.

Not sure if any seats have been held back but for a show not yet on general sale this has already sold really well.
I'll predict it will be in the West End this time next year, most likely the Trafalgar Theatre.

All I will say it's a tragedy if you don't see this. You'll be sorry in a heartbeat. In the here and now with the steps hits it's better the devil you know although that was the last thing on my mind.I'm sure it won't be better best forgotten and if it does transfer hopefully it will be in the summer of love when all the fans can stomp into the theatre where it will create a chain reaction of joy.It certainly won't be one for sorrow!
