I went to work today.
I went to clear my locker.
I have no idea when or if I will walk back into that particular Theatre (or any other theatre) again.
It's very odd, no goodbye party, no fuss, just over (for the time being).

I had a similar experience, although I was retiring early. I finished the Wednesday before the lockdown in March and only decided the night before. I helped manage a charity shop and at that time there was no knowing how long we would stay open. I was planning to finish anyway in May when i was 55, so just breought it forward. It was an odd last day of work though thinking I would never work there again. I hope your experience though odd now will turn out more positive in the future.

My show loaded out the other week. To save money, I wasn't even there. My next show was meant to have pressed and be into it's run by now too. It's all very sad.

I’ve reached the point where I don’t care if I die of this f***ing virus.

I’ve reached the point where I don’t care if I die of this f***ing virus. I'm sometimes with you on this! It was just a very surreal experience, the West End is dead, I met a friend for a socially distanced catch up and the only place we could go was All Bar One, they were doing a roaring trade by the time we left! The virus can do one to be honest! I'm too old to retrain and far too young (cough) to retire! Thanks for your responses, just needed a wallow.

Massive sympathy; I try not to think of what this virus is damaging and destroying and taking away from us or I just want to howl with despair. Best of luck for better days, please god soon.

I guess we all just have to stay positive, even though at times it seems very difficult. I know things will become more normal in time but none of us know when that will be. Hopefully sooner rather than later. We just need to stick together and talk .
