The Nimax queue took me to a booking on the Nimax website - which went through instantly. No spinning, no retrieving address.
Even still managed to get good stalls seats at a reasonable price... got the confirmation email to find I had mis-clicked and instead of booking a Tuesday evening, I had booked a Monday... George's Day.
heh.

Fantastically straight forward. Thank you Sonia, thank you Nimax, thank you the Academy, and everyone who knows me. Phew!

I booked early in the run, now wishing I'd have booked later as I guess it'll be in previews. Hoping though there shouldn't be much difference.

Done. Previews are significantly cheaper, (front stalls £55 rather than £85 after press night)

Booked 4th row central stalls, £75 a fair price.
Thanks for the link, came before my e-Mail.

After about half an hour including a second queue I got in and booked. Went for back corner of the stalls for £15 with extra legroom too!

Also there doesn’t appear to be front row so assume they’ll be day / rush seats.

The preview discounts were too good to ignore - picked up stalls row K for £55 on the first Wednesday.

Finally got in and thought what the hell, front row circle on St George's Day.

Completely forgot and the presale mail went straight to spam but found what we want in early May. The non-standard Nimax basket was confusing

Lost the email, found the email, finally got booked - ended up with 15 quid seats in the Grand Circle, but quite frankly would've taken anything! Cannot wait for this!

After skimping out and going for £10 tickets a decade ago (the joys of my student days!), I've "splashed out" on central stalls this time around in previews.

Is there any chance this might get recorded? The play is so beloved and Rylance’s performance is so iconic, but it’s incredibly doubtful he could do the role again. With that in mind, might they want to preserve him and it?

Got an invite to this through the email this morning without having signed up so thought it would be rude not to book a cheap seat...

Am I right in thinking they haven’t released any details yet for which are accessible performances? Or did I miss it somewhere?

With that in mind, might they want to preserve him and it? It was filmed at the Royal Court for the V&A theatre archive. Not for broadcast, but it does exist and can be seen by appointment I think. www.vam.ac.uk/info/theatre-performance-archives#national-video-archive-of-performance-nvap

Had a quick look at availability; if they don't already, seats booked last week are going to look amazing value next Spring.

This must be a record! Show cancelled nearly a year in advance!
Seems my tickets for a Monday night have been moved to a Sunday afternoon.

I haven't had any notifications for my June 9 tickets, so hopefully it's a one-off cancellation. Or they're notifying May ticket holders first and I'll be next.

Looks like they've changed from Monday-Saturday to Tuesday-Sunday from May onwards although I notice the show isn't on for two days in late July which I guess is due to Rylance having other commitments on those days.

It's May Day Bank Holiday. I can't recall if he's a Socialist but he's def very pro-worker rights. There will be the usual march n London and elsewhere, organised by the trade unions.

If it is due to that I'm very surprised they got as far as putting tickets on sale before it was clocked and altered.

They've allovated new (different..) seats on our requested night - I can see them if I log into my Nimax account, they just haven't bothered to tell us yet.

Just had an email that the performance of this I booked is cancelled and I've been moved to a performance I can't make... Maybe don't sell tickets before you've confirmed the show schedule?!! Can't even use covid as an excuse for the shifting about anymore.

I have an understanding that Mark Rylance previously performed the role without an understudy - will this be true of this coming run? Am looking to book tickets but still trying to decide on a date.

The run seems practically sold out now. Will more tickets likely be released as Nimax is saying "check back closer to the time"? Thanks.
