Archive recording of the play from a couple of years ago is now available to watch online. I missed it at the time but tuned in and thought it was a very interesting and captivating piece. The amount of characters the two actors play between them in incredible. You don't have to be interested in football to enjoy it, it's actually more about race and culture. Give it a watch www.curveonline.co.uk/news/watch-our-archive-recording-of-memoirs-of-an-asian-football-casual/{Spoiler - click to view} The only thing i didn't love was the real Riaz coming on at the end to finish the story. Might have been okay if he just narrated the end but they had him do some acting and he's no actor. For me the ending was a bit confusing and stilted compared to the rest of the piece so i wish they just used the two actors to end the story in the same style as the rest of the play.

Totally concur with Andy H...this is a terrific piece and once again perfectly displays the fact that the Curve is a wonderfully diverse and creative environment...always a joy to visit that theatre.

I have also watched this on the archive recording, and agree with everything @andyh says - including the bit in his spoiler!

I'll definitely try and watch this if it's still one. Very impressed with the Leicester Curve on my only visit there (so far).
As for football plays... still searching for the definitive one but it would need to be a play of two halves.
