I was thinking as we are going to run out of plays we saw the other night, running times and the like, we could open the section here to a wider appreciation of our beloved art. Feel free to start a topic. It might take off, it might sink into the mire, rather depending on the news we have on any day..
We could discuss different styles of directing our fave actors with photos..ahem plays on tv, then and now which theatres we think should be knocked down and rebuilt...go on, let me
there are better ideas out there, but it is late and we all have a full night of worrying ahead

I love this idea!
I'd be really curious to know what were other people's 'transformative' theatre experiences? What was the specific thing - whether it is a play, actor, someone's directing style, a particular thing you associated with an afternoon or evening when you saw a particular play... whatever it was - that got you to fall in love with theatre?
(But then again, happy to talk about good looking theatre professionals if nobody thinks my idea is any fun... :) )
