Just finished watching Hampstead Theatre’s Wild and was definitely worth a watch. That final scene though with the staging was just brilliant. I just wished I had been in the auditorium at the time to see it happen live.

I've just watched it as well! Loved it in the theatre, and found it was one of those plays that stuck in my mind, so it was great to see it again. Really makes me crave being in a theatre and being part of an audience though. Miss it so much. But at least we have this and the NT, etc. Better than nothing and gives moments in the week to look forward to.

Do you have to sign up for this?
More details to follow but indications are each play is available on their youTube channel for a week, so no sign up necessary. National Theatre - youTubeIs there any indication at what time this will be available for the rest of the week?. Will it only be broadcast at 7pm every night or can you view it at any time.

Nikolai Foster said in an Insta Live the other day Curve plan on putting up archive recordings every week but there's nothing been announced/uploaded since Memoirs of an Asian Football Casual so it probably won't be quite that regular. Still, interested to see what further shows they will release.

I hoped this would be the Regent's Park version of Superstar, but never mind!

Did anyone tune into the Theatre Cafe performances? If so, how were they? I saw Layton cancelled, but the others went ahead. There are some that look good, but I'm still working (remotely) and mostly have calls scheduled in the afternoon so joining them is difficult. There doesn't seem to be a replay.
They have had a lot of cancellations and technical difficulties. I'm working (from home) during the day too so can't watch many. I would love to have seen the Daniel Boys one but was busy, so I tried the Amy Atkinson one last night. Bless her for trying so hard, but the sound was out of synch with her lips by quite a big lag throughout, so it wasn't easy viewing. My screen went blank for most of one song too, but I'm not sure if that was them or my broadband. Was pretty poor quality TBH, not sure I'll be bothering again. I know they are inexperienced at doing this, but I'm afraid it shows. I'm happy to have given the money to help others, but really, if you're going to charge people, you should get your act together.
Apparently, they are working on providing the concerts for viewing at a later date, but none are available yet.

Btw, the Schaubuhne streams seem to end in the late evening - I watched Hamlet on the TV using a Roku box for Vimeo, so couldn't get subtitles, and hoped to be able to go back to a few bits afterwards via my desktop stream, but couldn't - it had already been taken off. I found the online/desktop version with subtitles kept stalling, making it impossible to watch, plus my Mum likes Lars Eidinger (blue eyes!) so we had to use TV.

I was quite excited about this until I read it was the Donny Osmond version which I've had on video for years. I was hoping it was going to be Lee Mead or Jac Yarrow.

crowblack , sadly the Schaubuhne plays are only available 6:30-midnight Berlin time/5:30-11PM UK time. I saw it last night, and had the feeling like someone kept hitting me in the stomach and slapping me in the face. Eidinger's performance gave me no time to think, there was so much to process, at such a pace, all the time! I thought it was exhilarating and hilarious and gorgeous, he is phenomenal! And made the decision to go see it in Berlin as soon as this madness is over. (Also, I kept thinking how Katie Mitchell, who does work at the Schaubuhne, should find a way to put Eidinger and Tom Mothersdale on the same stage, at the same time. I cannot think of two actors who I think would be a better fit. Wishful thinking, eh...) Hope your mom enjoyed it! (Clearly a lady with great taste, btw... That recording preceded the film Eidinger was in, 'Alle Anderen/Everyone Else', which I remember seeing with my twin sister when it came out in 2009. He was such a crush back then...)

Loving this so far. Great choice as the 1st NT at home screening. Just what the Dr ordered.
No queue for the loos or the bar during the interval.

So great that NT chose this for their first stream. Its crazy how good James Corden was in this show, but at the same time everyone and everything is great. So much fun revisiting this.

Really enjoyed that. I saw it in the west end but not with James, so really nice to see his turn at long last. The screening raised $31,000 too - far from shabby!
Hadn’t realised David Hunter was in this until the bows!

That was amazing. So miss being in the theatre - I will take over-priced wine, no leg room and a queue for the loos anytime!
