The National have announced their next batch of online productions. Particularly excited to see This House and A Streetcar Named Desire.

Delighted to see they are now including archive recordings in this - Barber Shop Chronicles. Makes me hopeful we might get Mosquitoes and The Welkin at some point. Neither were NT-Lived though the latter was scheduled.

I can't watch St Car again. My friend got motion sickness and neither of us could hear it very well but I'm excited for the other 3

All in all a very good selection so far. And yes, I really hope they filmed The Welkin and maybe The Visit for the archive at least.

I am looking forward to all of these, except 'Streetcar', that somehow doesn't really tempt me at all...
I saw 'Coriolanus' as part of NT Live and that show made me reconsider my opinion of Tom Hiddleston: I though he was excellent in it and I remember thinking how exciting the play was! Looking forward to finding out what I'll think from today's perspective.

Well the NT stuff is far too highbrow for me but I will certainly watch This House as I believe it was rather good. Now a request please. As the NT is heavily funded by the tax payer and as a tax payer who does not like heavy drama, can we have a musical please from out of your closet? Pretty please.

My daughter was/is hoping for The Light Princess. I know it was not an NT Live. But there must be an archive filming. This announcement may give her hope!

If they have it I'd love to see the Guys and Dolls with Clive Rowe, the small clip on the NT At 50 DVD is brilliant.

Really pleased with that list of announced NT streaming shows! Streetcar was brilliant and I’d quite like to revisit Coriolanus.

I second the request for a musical, though generally they are well catered for elsewhere compared to plays. If we’re making requests though I’d love to see The Audience make an appearance.

Re: Frankenstein, I absolutely love and am thoroughly amused by how many different opinions there are on the same play, and the performances! Did anyone see Milo Rau's 'La Reprise' on the Schaubuhne web site last night? I remembered it last minute and ended up watching it... And I loved it exactly as much as I thought I would based on Matt Trueman's review from last year, when it was on in Edinburgh during the Fringe. Such a terrific, difficult to watch, imaginatively done piece of theatre! (I've never seen anything he's done before, but I really hope there will be further opportunities...) I saw Five Easy Pieces at the Unicorn, daring in a way that UK theatre never really is. It took the horrific Marc Dutroux child abductions and had the story re-enacted by children. I'm annoyed I missed La Reprise, they take them off at midnight. They seem to be repeating some occasionally so I hope we see it again. In a similarly unsettling manner, the one time comedian turned performance artist Kim Noble has his one man show 'You are Not Alone' streamed by the Münchner Kammerspiele on Saturday. Again you have to be quick because they change them daily. This really won't be for everyone but is a highlight of my past theatregoing. "18+ Blending performance, comedy and film, Kim Noble tries to get close to other people on this planet. Keith for instance. You maybe. You Are Not Alone is a provocative, moving and comic production that chronicles one man’s attempts at connection, friendship and employment at B&Q. Kim Noble takes his audience on a journey through tower blocks, supermarkets and Facebook, seeking an escape from the loneliness of modern society. It is an intimate glimpse into the mind of an eccentric genius. “Noble’s guerrilla theatre piece runs the gamut from the unethical and troubling to random acts of kindness and real tenderness.” **** (The Guardian) "

I don't understand why NT don't put some more shows up that you can pay to stream like the ones they previously streamed through cinemas. Rufus Norris said today that they will go under by the end of the year if things don't change, surely this is a cost effective way to generate some much needed income.

I don't understand why NT don't put some more shows up that you can pay to stream like the ones they previously streamed through cinemas. Free streaming will hopefully pull in a whole new audience to theatres when they reopen, but I'd imagine there are thousands of fans of actors like Cumberbatch, Hiddlestone etc. who would happily pay £10 to have an 'itunes' style copy that doesn't expire after a week. As it is, they are probably recording copies from the stream.

Rights issues and royalties is the main issue. I imagine many have waived or reduced theirs for this National Theatre at Home but when things get back to normal, it may not be viable.

This production of Streetcar is the 2nd best I have seen in a theatre. I loved every single minute of it. Anderson was phenomenal and one of the best performances I have ever witnessed.

THIS. HOUSE. FINALLY MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED! To see my darling Jack Weatherill again has been a dream since forever...
Also, this quote from exec director Lisa Burger was interesting: "This initiative wouldn't have been possible without the support of a great number of artists for which we are incredibly grateful. We have been absolutely thrilled by the response from viewers enjoying the productions from right across the globe, and we have also been surprised and delighted at the generous donations we've received since closure. Whilst the National Theatre continues to face a precarious financial future, we now feel able to make a payment to all artists involved, as we recognise a great many are also experiencing a particularly challenging time at this moment."

Was London Road ever part of NT live? I'd love to see that again.
Or one of the restoration comedies. I remember seeing a couple there which were great fun.
Here Lies Love would also be on my list along with Home I'm Darling.

I think we need to expectations in check otherwise it'll just lead to disappointment for whatever NT at Home announces.

Was London Road ever part of NT live? I'd love to see that again. There was a BBC TV adaptation with Olivia Colman and it's available on DVD.
