Who here would try Blackirish by Mariah Carey? It is a type of Bailey's cream.
The flavours are: Original, White Chocolate and Salted Caramel
MARIAH IN 2009: It’s, like, my mother’s white – she’s so Irish, she loves Ireland, she’s like, yay, Ireland! Waving the flag and singing When Irish Eyes Are Smiling. And that’s great. I appreciate that and respect it.
“But there’s a whole other side of me that makes me who I am and makes people uncomfortable. My father identified as a black man. No one asked him because he was clearly black. But people always ask me. If we were together, people would look at us in a really strange way. It sucked. As a little girl, I had blond hair, and they’d look at me, look at him, and be disgusted.”
BLACKIRISH is a pun because she is black and irish but at the same time blackirish are a group of people.

Good news, BurlyBeaR. Kiwi berries are back in season, so I've bought you a punnet from Tracey's. Only £1.20 to you, plus p&p. For once, you'll be the talk of MCR for all the right reasons! 😁

We did Kiwi Berries to death in Manc over lockdown 1 #sorryaboutit
It’s all about your Durium these days. Doesn't half pong the fridge out though! And your Custard Apples, McDonalds round here are doing a Custard Apple McFlurry (when the machine is working, obvs)

Nope. If it isn't proper Baileys I'm not drinking it!

Vegetable crisps are never any good. Expensive too. Crisps made out of anything except potatoes are always rubbish.
Don’t. 👏🏻 Mess. 👏🏻 With. 👏🏻 Crisps 👏🏻

TallPaul your kiwi berries post intrigued me so I have just spent this morning trying to source some from the shops as I’ll be honest I’ve never heard about them. A trip to the Westfield shopping centre had come up trumps with Waitrose being the only place that seems to sell them at £2 a punnet! have to say, they are very nice.

The Marks & Spencer foodhall is not my natural habit, david, but I have subsequently found them in there, if that helps in the future. They're £3, mind, for a smaller punnet than the ones Tracey sells. And you almost certainly won't get a "cheers me bab-ee" in M&S! 🙂

I’ve got a craving for those berries now.

I have bought them in M&S before. They are quite nice and, of course, don't have to discard the skin. A punnet goes too quickly though.
Talking about different fruit has anyone tried the M&S memon that's that's cross between and melon and a lemon. It's really nice.

A punnet goes too quickly though. This is so true. The punnets need to be bigger.

You know how, in Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Ray keeps turning up with strangely named confectionery? Well, I'm just back from Poundland with a box of Malt Balls.
25p they were, and they aren't even out of date for another eight days!
I shall enjoy them as I watch Dame Judi's ancestry being revealed.

Well, I'm just back from Poundland with a box of Malt Balls. (Checks that safe search is on. Not reassured that the first result is from nuts.com.)
Off-brand Maltesers?

An afternoon trip to Morrisons for a few bits and pieces and walk out with 2 haggis. Well that’s tea sorted for the next few days.

I've had chicken and mushroom soup for tea. Slightly disappointing if I'm honest. It were neither one thing nor t'other.
Probably didn't help that, in trying to multitask, I spilt half the tin on the kitchen floor. Just as well I gave it the once over with the Vileda earlier in the week!
