I was lucky enough to see Julie Andrews when she toured a version of this show a few years ago when she came to Bournemouth, what an amazing evening (I remember the people sat next to me said they'd waited at the stage door for two hours prior to her arriving and she waltzed straight past them without a word. As is her right but even so.). Probably won't be able to afford this but as I;ve already seen her live I don;t mind quite so much.

£40 to £125. £40 not bad considering you get a £20 book but that will probably be right at the back and she will just be a little dot on the stage of this barn of a venue.
Think I might have to get the book after its release for a tenner on Amazon and just remember the time I saw her when she did the introduction for Hey Mr Producer and got a 10 minute standing ovation when she walked onto the stage.

Not sure what new insights she will bring...heard all the same old stories before...won’t be bothering with this.

Blimey ...
Front Stalls: £100 for rows A - T Rear Stalls: £100 for rows AA - MM, £70 rows NN - SS, £40 rows TT - XX Balcony: £100 for rows A - D, £70 rows E-J, £40 rows K-N Boxes and side stalls: £70
OK, you can take £10 off for how much the book is likely to be on Amazon but I think I'd need more than a spoonful of sugar to help this medicine go down.

There are also £125 premium seats which also gives you a glass of prosecco or a soft drink.....

By the time I could get on the website only hundred pound tickets remained. I can't justify that. It is now sold out.
Just pleased I managed to see her live, even if it was the iffy show at the O2 that we do not mention.

Looking forward to the book. I enjoyed the first volume and thought she must have given up, as this one has taken such a long time to be released.
I saw the tour last time and wasn't impressed. So this is a definite miss at those prices (it is sold out now anyway, but I'm surprised there hasn't been a cash-in second show added).

Terrible title for the book. A memoir of my Hollywood Years! Ugh, terrible. And all those song lyrics...perhaps she couldn’t pick a favourite.

Call me cynical, many have, but I really don't believe the 'sold out' line. Certainly not at those prices. Presumably she is just going to be sitting in a comfy chair chatting? And will no doubt do the chat show rounds whilst here so what would I be paying for? In a more intimate venue I could see the appeal, or even if she were to sing again. Don't get me wrong she's a total legend, making one of Mary Poppins, Sound Of Music, Thoroughly Modern Millie or Victor/Victoria would ensure that but to have done all 4?? The book will be bought and devoured but this, meh.
