The production won Best Lighting Design in the first awards ceremony yesterday (which they are calling Act 1) They are only up for 2 more at the second ceremony - Act 2- tonight. Best Female Actor ( Paula Arundell) and Best Production of a Play.

I haven't seen it, and I've only seen one of the other plays nominated ( Harp in the South), so I can't say.
Going by the winners so far, the smaller indy shows ( 'Counting & Cracking' and 'Barbra and the Camp Dogs' especially) seem to be the strongest contenders this year.

I just feel they cheeped out on Cursed Child in Aus. They always do. How does a show that wins the tony and olivier award not even get the helpmann
