Well I've really enjoyed the itv special so far. And I got really emotional during "I'm telling you...." She did a smart, and really great arrangement that showed off the emotion rather than trying to mimic other singers. (I'm not engaging with the should she shouldn't she debate here just reporting on the performance don't come at me) Adored Anyone Had a Heart most of all though.
I personally like her interviews, and the fact she's talked about her dad and her "meltdown" I might not be among the more vocal of her fans here but I do love a bit of our Sheri
P.s your West End ads are regional, none of that nonsense in Wales 😉

Really enjoyed this and thought she came over well. Good song choices too. The show certainly will have helped CD and concert ticket sales. Have to agree about the tattoos

Sheridan's album is currently #12 on the UK midweek chart. It could potenitally rise higher due to the ITV special, but I imagine it will stick in the Top 20, which is amazing!

And I'm still waiting for my copy to arrive. What's the point of ordering online to get it on release day and 4 days later still waiting.

That TV "special" was appalling on Every Possible Level. The woman has talent as an actress but someone needs to tell her to STOP SINGING.

Why do they? Just because you may not like her? It seems that a lot of people do, going by the sales. Though even if only one copy was sold, if she has an opportunity to do it and enjoys it who wouldn't leap at the chance in the same position.

I thought the TV special was fun. Was it the best ever, no, but Sheridan is lovable and can sell anything to anyone and the general public love her for it. Those who hate her are gonna hate her no matter what she does, you kinda just leave them to it because there are some who hate something that and anything that is popular, and that will never change. That said, I'm somewhat surprised just how kuch the album is selling, and the tour. But not because I doubted her popularity, but because I didn't know if anyone would waj0nt to see her live, as herself. Glad to see I'm wrong!

I'm kinda stunned that there are only 12 single seats left in the Stalls and First Tier for Sheridan's Royal Albert Hall show! And some of the cheaper seats up top are the ones still availible in the top tier. I mean, people are shelling out money for the expensive ones it seems, I would of thought the cheaper ones would of been the first to go, but apparently not!

The "cheaper" seats are still very expensive.
I think people are sick of being asked to pay a lot of money to sit at the back. The days of truly cheap seats at these type of events are long gone, sadly.

The days of truly cheap seats at these type of events are long gone, sadly. Oh I agree they are expensive, I just refer to cheaper in the sense of the cheapest in the building. It is expensive, and the RAH is the main blame as it is the only venue to be majorly different to the others on the tour, because it is such a prestigious venue to perform in. I think my Nottingham ticket was central middle Tier 2, which was £44 including all fees, which I was happy to pay, but I wouldn't want to pay more than that for the cheapest seat at RAH when you will be further away and is expensive as hell. That added to the fact that its a tour, every show is going to be the same bar maybe a special guest at RAH. I also wouldn't be surprised if they filmed that show for a DVD or something, seeing as they know she can sell anything with her name on and people will buy it!

That's a good price. At Gateshead the vast majority of tickets are 60 with 50 ones at the back and a few token 40 ones in the roof.

Having just watched the tv special and seen Sheridan several times on stage I was really disappointed in it. Badly made and disjointed it did nothing in my mind to cement the feeling of her being a good vocalist. She is a very good actress and good enough singer where a role demands but in my view she is no out and out singer. I feel from the tv show she still has her demons. I do wish her well though and hope she finds happiness.

I'm listening to the interview now, shes very funny, and she doesn't try to be. She shys away from her own success and gets embarassed talking about it, and constantly, even before this, says she didn't want to release an album because she found it weird, but her Dad wanted her to do it so she did it. Its just very sweet. I love that she gets embarrassed when they say they are gonna play one of her songs too!

The RAH, seriously? That’ll be papered then. There is maybe 50 of the "cheap" seats left in the Upper Tier. Bar that, its a sell out, and those will go before April.

Definately no freebies here. All the good seats went when they went on sale and the few cheaper seats left will be gone way before April.

I'm surprised at her consistancy in the charts, a month on from its release (pretty much), her album is still in the Top 20 in the midweek charts. I expected it to fall out from that high after a couple of weeks. And I expected Beverley, Amber and Cassidy to ride above her by now, but they peaked at #19 and have now fallen out of the Top 30 after just one week.

That is the power of television. Sheridan is well known primarily from her tv work and so automatically has more chance of a hit album due to this.

My experience with Ms Smith doesn't go back a very long way but I did see her at the Savoy in Funny Girl and then again on tour with the show in Edinburgh. She gave a terrific Fanny!
She was in floods of tears on both occasions during her bow and was clearly humbled and eternally grateful from the audience response which was so well deserved.
She is witty too so I would love to see her in a play over the coming years. Perhaps a James Graham number.
I really do hope that she is doing well.

Tonight's special guest on The One Show is, hopefully, Sheridan Smith. And she'll be closing the show with a song!
