The runway would have to extend to my bedroom for that kind of money.

I have now reached almost nuclear levels of frustration with this process. I have been trying to get tickets for a week now or since it all started, my mind is a fuzz. Apparently in the whole of the auditorium for five shows, only single seats available. I went on this morning and was put in the 'waiting room' and was told I would be assigned a random place in the queue, so I thought let's do a couple of browsers and whichever gives me best one I'll keep. They all logged me in at the same time, took me to the seating plan and on all three browsers, no tickets available in seated area. Then only singles, that classic 'not enough seats' line. Fair enough, my biggest issue is that when you press 'go back' it takes you back to the 'bot page' and am stuck in an endless loop of capthchas. I know they do this kind of crap to a) create buzz b) boost star egos but truly it just makes me angry and whilst no one will care that I've given up, if enough people do the same, all the buzz in the world wont fill those empty seats

Peter Kay holds the record for something like 21 nights at the o2 but as you say it's pretty amazing for musical theatre to see so many nights. Who knew he would be this popular.

My battle with the o2 still continues. Funnily enough they tell me they only record some calls for training purposes!!! Yeah right! I'm not giving up but equally I'm not holding out much hope.

Well I can report that the o2 got back to me yesterday and the great news is that they have moved me to the section that I originally booked so I am very happy. They also said that they would be using my comments and suggestions in further staff training so that's a good result too. Just a 5 month wait now

I think someone we are all forgetting, even though they didn't go ahead, The King of Pop sold out 50 nights at The O2 Arena, with more than 1.5 million people crashing websites trying to buy tickets on the initial ticket sales.

This was his last tour and I know this to be a fact as I was there the night someone from the Guinness Book of Records came on stage and presented him with the certificate.

Wasn't the record for tickets sold for a tour? I think he only (only!) played 15 nights at the O2.

Got a ticket for nearly the back row of Madison Square Garden so I can't wait to hear him and ruin my ever decreasing eyesight straining to see him.

It should also be noted, with his Grammy win for The Greatest Showman, Hugh is now an Oscar away from the EGOT.

And will be opening the BRITS!
Gosh, who would have thought that music from a movie musical would end up being performed at the BRIT awards? I mean -
Bonkers.

I quickly read that these people would be singing with him at his o2 concert and was about to offer my tickets for sale. I can breathe again now.
