Even too good... I was not planning to add another theatre to my long list of venues but A doll's house, Solaris, and Antigone look very interesting.

I've been in this game too long, it only feels like five minutes since I last saw Love, Love, Love and The Beauty Queen Of Leenane.

I didn't think much of Love Love Love first time around but the rest looks good.

Oddly, Love Love Love was the only one I was thinking of booking. What's the problem with it?
Saw the Royal Court version
It was just ok I thought. Didn't really resonate or make me thing it was worth ever reviving! Nothing particularly bad about it, just average. If you haven't seen it, you may enjoy it more though.

Definitely up for seeing The Beauty Queen of Leenane again (although not getting too excited about anything thats not going to be seen for another 18 months or so) , and I'm also interested in Solaris.

I wish I'd seen Love Love Love on tour; they "upgraded" the cast for the Royal Court run and I'd much rather have seen John Heffernan and Rosie Wyatt than Ben Miles and Claire Foy.

There is little to excite me here. I don't need to see another production of A Doll's House, Cinderella, Love Love Love, Antigone or The Beauty Queen of Leenane. Tempted by Solaris but will see what reviews are like from Melbourne and Edinburgh first. Shame there is little new writing in her first season.

I am delighted that the Lyric Hammersmith seems to be getting back into regular theatre mode. I've seen many enjoyable productions there over the years.

Love, Love, Love and Beauty Queen of Leenane, never seen both and would love too.
Queen’s Theatre in conjunction with Hull Truck are doing Beauty Queen of Leenane this autumn, so will be seeing that.

I can see Claire Foy any time, I have Netflix right here on my phone. Rosie Wyatt though is criminally underemployed for someone of her talent, every stage outing is to be treasured. Some of us have a genuine fondness for actors who AREN'T slebs, y'know.

I saw Love, Love, Love at Watford Palace and was expecting something really special after all I'd read about it, only to be very disappointed. It seemed to be to be a very sketchy dash through several decades of the recent past, but with too little effort invested in characterisation and authenticity. Having lived through that period I squirmed at how poor it was and certainly didn't find it the work of an adult playwright - more like a teenager's hasty homework. Of course a lot may depend on the cast and director but based on that experience, I won't be giving this another chance.

Having a quick read tonight of the new season is tempting me to want to book for the majority of the stuff announced (Solaris being of particular interest). Its nice to see in the announcement of the multi-buy offer for the new season. This will definitely be kinder to my wallet. Having never been to the Lyric Hammersmith before, it will be another new theatre to visit as well.

Does the booking work? I tried several times to select a seat but the page refreshes to the original seating plan without my choice.

^The dates for Beauty Queen are TBA, so I imagine tickets will be on sale later.
Not ideal for anyone wanting the multi-buy discount!
