I consider myself a lapsed fan, and haven’t bought tickets on day of release since ‘the play that must not be named’. But I often relent at the last minute in case I’m missing something and find something on a secondary site or from a grubby tout outside the millennium stadium ...”I’ve got fifty quid, what have you got” (turns out a VIP section seated ticket worth over £100...leave it til 7pm or til you see them panicking 😂). Admittedly she always puts on a ‘show’, and was really the first to do so, but she is repeating herself now and she’s done monks and crucifixes etc to death. Given the state of her voice last night and the pretty dreadful music I can’t see it being that massive. Her last few tours have always had availability up to the last minute. Surely she’ll get the message soon? What message exactly? She sold 180,000 tickets in London alone on her last three tours (across 6 shows). Anyway, demand must have been high for the Palladium for them to announce another 6 shows at those prices.

Yes have to agree, a dreadful performance. Not sure why she had all the steps after the Brits incident! Because no one was able to pull her off stage by her cape lol.

6 new London shows announced and on sale Friday. Blimey! After that display at Eurovision I thought they'd have been cancelling!

Yes capacity of the Palladium is only around 2000, so even if Madonna did 10 shows there it would only equate to around one show at the O2. She was bound to add more shows. Plus I doubt she will play anywhere else in the UK, so even more demand. People will justify paying higher prices to be in an intimate venue

Including Hyde Park, that premium ‘I really care about my fans’ 65,000 capacity venue. 🙄 The message being that people are ready for something different rather than re-hashing the past over and over, especially when you have a reputation for constant reinvention. Same sh*t, smaller venue doesn’t really count. I’m not saying that she isn’t popular; I’m saying that she needs a bit of self awareness if she’s going to try and peddle the same old same old as something new.

I really don't understand why anyone would want to pay £438 for an uncomfortable, tight seat at the Palladium in any circumstances, let alone when there is a substantial risk of a performance as dreadful as she gave on Saturday...!
Not to mention this can't be on the same grand scale as an arena tour as there just isn't the space for it.

I don’t mind admitting that I have booked to go to the palladium for this. There is no way that the tickets can be classed as value for money,(although value is a very personal thing whatever the event) and there is no denying that the Eurovision performance was a colossal misfire. Also the Madam X persona is the hardest Madonna incarnation to love since the days of Sex / Body of Evidence etc. But out of that era she created The Girlie Show which is still high on the list of my favourite concerts ever. I am hoping (with slight trepidation) that a similar thing happens here. I’ve not missed a tour since then and for me, each one has been great fun. So really, I admit it’s a huge contradiction : I can agree with all the criticisms written on here, and certainly won’t try to defend Saturday night. But Madonna in the Palladium? Bring it on!

Hyde Park is still a legislate concert that sold very well at a handsome price too for a field. Now, if people are ready for something new, then perhaps they need to go see this new show? Because Madonna has never done a theatre show and no one know what this will be like. Including you.

no one know what this will be like. Including you. That's not entirely true - we all know what state her voice is in thanks to Saturday night. And the fact that this is otherwise a bit of an unknown quantity is another reason why the ticket prices are obscene - it can't be an arena style spectacle as there just isn't space!

I entered the lottery but I doubt I’ll be buying, having seen the pricing bands. I’d expect for £150 to have the best seats ( as with her last arena show ) but i imagine this sort of price will be near the back of the upper circle. Nope, not with travel and accommodation on top. These prices are insane. And why? Disrespectful to fans.

Out of the 3 of us that registered in my group, all 3 of us received the email. Either we are extremely lucky or a very high percentage of people were ‘chosen’

Getting seats in the fan club presale was surprisingly easy, those prices will put a lot of people off, small venue or not. Hope you are all successful and get what you want.

Either we are extremely lucky or a very high percentage of people were ‘chosen’ Well I got the code but my husband didn’t. So some people weren’t chosen. Having said that after Eurovision I don’t think I’m going to bother, but I’ve got 45 minutes to decide...

Do you think she chose the Palladium so that she could walk/cycle to work? Very eco friendly 😊
