When I go to the theatre I like to check the cast board. To check for understudies, alternates, swings and who is playing the children part/s if any. At some theatres however the board is quite hard to find. So I thought a thread on here where people can list where the board is at a specific theatre.

I'll add in a few-
Phantom: Next to the box office. (You can't miss it)
Les Mis: to the right of the doors where you come in, next to the merch stand. There's normally a sheet or two at the box office that lists the understudies/swings.
Jersey Boys: On the wall in front of the middle two doors as you enter.

Lyceum (Lion King) on the left as you go up the stairs just inside the main entrance. Cambridge (Matilda) on the wall in the space between the Box Office and the stairs down to the Stalls. Drury Lane (Charlie) on TV screens in the main foyer. Was just about to add Billy Elliot and War Horse, but realised they're not applicable any more

Sunny Afternoon - next to the box office windows in the main lobby.
Didn't see any at Funny Girl last night, though it might be that they don't display one when nobody's off?

At "Gypsy" it was part of the general revolving advertising on the TV screen near the bar in the dress circle foyer. May be the same this time, so you wouldn't notice it unless the screen happened to be running that page? For gypsy it was the same in the upper circle bar for the plebs among us who were unfortunate enough to be there

In The Heights/King's Cross Theatre: on a TV in the bar as you go into the actual performance area.

In The Heights/King's Cross Theatre: on a TV in the bar as you go into the actual performance area. Some people on Platform One don't notice it! Check just down and left from the Platform Two sign.

I didn't see a board at Funny Girl, just an A4 sheet stuck on the front doors and by the box office of changes to advertised cast.

TV screens on the back wall ahead of you, to the left, when you reach the foyer at the top of the main staircase. Thank you.

Does anyone know where it is at the New London theatre. It wasn't turned on when I went to Show Boat though if that's where you're intending on hunting it down.

Personally I cannot stand cast boards that are a plasma screen but a cast board with slotted in names is a wonderful thing.

I love when it shows that someone has gone to the effort of updating it, rather than just a slide rotating with the adverts. Does Matilda still use the chalkboard past the box office to show which kids are on?

Does Matilda still use the chalkboard past the box office to show which kids are on? They do! I also preferred when they had the lovely metallic plates with all the actors names on it. Imagine being the understudy and seeing your name slipped in for the first time in a principle role. The screens are boring, usually harder to read and used to remind us all that there's a bar that we should immediately go and donate money to.
